Ashley Price - Mortgage Adviser & Partner

Prior to forming Ashley Price Associates, I spent 24 years with TSB Group. I started working in a branch in Leicester and finished as Head of Customer Relations at Head Office in London. In between I spent time as manager of three branches and Head of Business Development in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I was part of a small team in TSB, which developed and piloted the Banks Mortgage Service. I hold the qualifications of The Chartered Institute of Banks, The Chartered Institute of Marketing and The Institute of Financial Services, Mortgage Qualification (CeMap). I am happily married to Polly and have two children Jeremy and Emma. Emma and her husband Chris and also Jeremy's wife Bittan all are partners in Ashley Price Associates. Jeremy did try it but decided his chosen career as a Sound Designer in the Film Industry suited him better. My interests include being an Elder in our local church, giving Holistic Massage, travelling, and being a Grandpa

Polly Price - Human Resources & Partner

Ashley and I started Ashley Price Associates in 1988. It was just the 2 of us working from an office in our home. We have 2 children Jeremy who is married to Bittan and Emma who is married to Chris. Between them they are keeping us well supplied with grandchildren, Emma and Chris have 2 girls and Jeremy and Bittan also have 2 daughters. My roll in the office is HR. I work mostly from the office at home as we have a computer link to the main office, which enables me to job share with Emma whilst the children are so small. My interests are our grandchildren, I am an Elder in our local church, gardening, travelling and interior designing.

Simon Beames - Mortgage Broker

I live in St Albans with my wife Faith after getting married in the summer of 2006. I have a BSc (HONS) in Sport Science but found myself in the financial world straight from University. I have now been in the financial market in some shape or form for 10 years. I initially worked for Ford Credit Bank as an underwriter for 3 years before moving to a Mortgage packaging company at the recommendation of Ashley where I worked my way up to Lending Services Manager before finally deciding to take my CeMAP exams at the end of 2006. I then took my first mortgage adviser job with a company in Stevenage before Polly and Ashley came calling. I immediately jumped at the chance as it had been a long term goal of over 10 years to work with them.

Martin Byron-Grange - Mortgage Adviser

Before joining Ashley Price Associates I enjoyed a career of over 20 years with Lloyds TSB, specialising as a Business Manager and qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Since joining Ashley Price Associates in 2002 as a Mortgage Adviser I have been awarded the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMap). My wife Catherine and I have been living in Knebworth since 1987 and we have three fantastic children- Charlie, Bethany and Alfie. In my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and sports, especially football, mountain biking, skiing and circuit training.

Chris Oyetunde - Mortgage Adviser & Partner

I was born in Nigeria and moved to England in 1986 aged 13. When I finished school I went to college and completed a BTEC in Business and Finance with a view to a career in Financial Services. I began my working life at Sun Alliance in Watford in 1993 as a trainee underwriter. In 1998 I joined the Life Division of Royal SunAlliance as they are now known. I left Royal SunAlliance in March 2001and joined a small Independent Financial Adviser in Hitchin where I achieved my Financial Planning Certificate, qualifying me as an Independent Financial Adviser. I was there for one year before joining Ashley Price Associates in March 2002, in April 2005 I also completed my Certificate in Mortgage Advice. This is very much a job for life as I married Emma, the boss's daughter in 1998. We have two wonderful children Chloe and Libby and live in Welwyn. I enjoy all sports, spending time with the family and am also actively involved in our local church.

Emma Oyetunde - Administrator & Partner

I was born in Sunderland and moved to Welwyn aged 9. After leaving school I went to Art College where I completed a Design Craft course. I still use the skills I learnt there in designing and making Ashley Price Associates "Moving In" cards and many other associated items in my spare time. I joined the family business in a most unconventional way five years ago. Mum and Dad were tearing their hair out with the pressure of all the new business, and being the dutiful daughter, and between jobs, I helped to clear some of the backlog. I enjoyed it so much hearing the responses from happy clients, that I have been here ever since. I am very happily married and have two lovely daughters, Chloe and Libby and tend not to spend so much time in the office, as I am rather busy looking after them. I do a lot of office work from home now. My interests are my children, church life, being a trustee at Chloe's pre-school, running a youth club and design craft.

Bittan Price - Administrator & Partner

I was born in Tanzania. When I was l year old the family returned to Finland. I studied in Finland and in the UK after completing my masters degree in 2000, I joined Ashley Price Associates just to help out as Emma had, and still find myself here dealing with all aspects of administration and client liaison. A lot of my work is computer based, sending many mortgage applications down line, improving filing systems and adding new information to our database. Jeremy and I were married in August 2001 and have 2 daughters Amelie and Matilda. I enjoy spending time with my family in Finland, designing and decorating our rather dilapidated new home, reading and travelling.

Karin OstHussain - Administrator & Offlce Manager

I live in Welwyn Oaklands with my two sons Nicholas and Alec. I was born in Finland and came to the UK some 20 years ago via Norway. My mother tongue is Swedish and I have picked up Finnish and Norwegian on my travels but now I am most comfortable in English. In my previous working life I was with Finnair for nearly 30 years before I got my life back, stopped commuting and joined Ashley Price Associates one and a half years ago. My career with Finnair included 3 countries and a selection of different jobs in a number of departments, finally as Ticket Office and Reservation Manager UK & Ireland. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, listening to music woodworking and exercising.

Disa Bone - Administrator

I come from South Africa and have been here since January 1999. I come from a banking background but have only recently got back into the working world in September 2002, as I have enjoyed spending time with my 2 children and husband Warren. In our leisure time we enjoy cycling, camping and swimming. I have been very fortunate to be included in this close team where its enthusiasm spills out towards service excellence.

Steve Hall - Administrator

Before joining the Company in Jan 2006, I worked in sales for a photographic company. I first met Polly and Ashley many years ago at the local church, where I am also involved as a Sunday school teacher. When not at work my hobbies include sport, both watching and playing - especially tennis and football - socializing with friends and youth work.
